Although Infused Oil is not pure, when you make it using the right technique, it is still very effective!
Use Peppermint Oil for ADHD support , headache, sunburn, muscle and joint pain, sinus and allergies and bug repellent. Can also be used for Mice and Spider deterrent! My new best friend :)
Gather supplies: Fractionated Coconut Oil, mason jar, crushed Peppermint leaves, spray bottle or glass bottle, and pot of water. If you are using fresh Peppermint, leave out to dry on paper towel. I put mine in a low heat oven for about 20 minutes. Ha! There is more than one way to skin a cat! That's one of my hubby's favorite sayings!
Boil enough water in your medium sized pot to cover the mason jar about halfway.
Place crushed dry Peppermint leaves and oil in mason jar, place into water and simmer for 1/2 hour.
Allow to cool, cover with lid, and let sit in dark, cool spot for up to a week. Strain oil into jars or spray bottle.
I use mine the most for sinuses and headaches by rubbing the oil on forehead or temples. Rub on your chest for respiratory care. Place a few drops in diffuser to add fresh aroma to your home. Put into spray bottle with water, tea tree and lavender oil to give yourself a homemade bug repellent!
