Okay, lets recap today. A miricle happened... 2 carpenters showed up !!! Both have done work for me before but it's the first time they met. White shirt is Ted, Meticulous detail, knows theory, taught carpentry/ drafting 20 years, worked in it most of his life. ( He drew the plans for my pool house & did all interior trim & set the column on the out side of it ). Oh, he also did my bath house, looks simple but lots of detail. Also redesinged my front porch with arches & 2 columns, and ...»
    some other cool stuff.

James, "the hair machine" is one bust ass get'r done kinda of guy. Patience of Job, heart of a lion, strong as a horse. Put the deck down overtop a stump swinging an axe, cigerette hanging from his lips for 30 years and still had more stamina than me. I thought I was in pretty good shape!!

Okay, there's the set-up. Now the down & dirty. Went to Lowes 4 times today.. buy & return & buy some more. Managed to see & sell a customer in my spare time. Lost my cell phone, my son found my cell phone, had 18 messages. Forgot to make it to the stone supplier. Mason wanted to start tomorrow but can't now. It's acually okay because this project is still evolving. Now if I were Yamini, I'd get several different wall finishes & counter options... the stall will let the wife & I develop the interior space & explore our imaginations. Fortunatley she's an interior designer that helps a bunch.

Here are the pics. They are boring, but sticks in the air turn me on!!

    See you tomorrow!
