My favorite product for fiberglass and caulk is "Soft Scrub With Bleach." For large areas like you are describing, squirt it on generously, and with a wet scratchy sponge, rub it around to cover. It is thick, so it will stay in place while you let it stand for 15-30 minutes. When you come back, it will wipe off and everything with it. Rinse with a pitcher of water or your sprayer. You can repeat if necessary for any areas with stubborn mildew, (but it won't be necessary!)

I used a really fine steel wool pad to remove soap scum and filth...tub and tile looked like new when I was done!

in a spray bottle put one cup dawn dish soap, fill remainder of bottle with white vinegar; shake to blend then spray on walls and let sit a couple of hours. Then spray with water and wipe down. may take a couple of times if build up is bad.

I use vinegar spray and a magic eraser! Good luck!

We had our tub/shower redone with overlayed acrylic. The installers suggested we use KABOOM. You simply spray it on let it stand for maybe 3 mins. then utilize a soft brush or sponge to spread and clean the surface....rinse with warm water. We use the shower head to fully rinse. Sounds as though yours is pretty bad so it may take a couple times to actually get down to the main surface.
