I have used the plastic gloves to rub it off different kinds of sweepers -I am ready to shave my cats!

Why don't you just use an adhesive roller, the kind used to brush off lint from clothes.

If this does not work, give me your cat.

Rosalie I do use many lint rollers and I was kidding about shaving them but for some reason I seem to be behind on all this hair from them. Thanks for your answer

  • Vacuum every day . . . I have 6 cats, plus other pets. I hear you! I also purchased a rubber broom and brush, works great, wasn't expensive and makes life easier.

I have a brush with rubber bristles. It is probably from a pet store--it came with my inherited cat. For a small area, such as a chair, I just dampen my hand and rub it over the spot and the hair rolls right up. For the cats, try a Furminator brush. It's really more a metal comb that gets right down to the skin and picks up all kinds of loose hair.

Husband says "by the back of the neck!" Actually he uses lint remover quite successfully.

We have four dogs and a hybrid cat and all shed, the dog hair attachment on the vacuum made for pet hair work really good.

i let my cats gonoutside a lot. i also have a long haired dog. So I don't notice cat fur that much.

Brush brush and brush the kitties. Also have a designated rubbing spot for them. A friend rigged something up where they rubbed on it like a brush they liked. And a lot of fur came off there instead
