Now that's a fun idea! If you're looking to stencil some concrete, this is a cool tutorial!

No! I painted a stamped concrete stain on my front walk and pool deck using sponges. Take a couple of large, rectangular sponges with large hole texture, some concrete stains, paint trays, and some water. Wash your concrete well and let dry thoroughly. I outlined the walk with a linear pattern and filled in with a typical brick pattern. Wet your sponge, wring out well, and dip into your stain in paint tray. Squeeze out excess stain and rub over ridges in paint tray because you do not want any drips. Start stamping in your desired design. Allow a half inch or so between stamps to look like mortar. You can blend colors by dipping your sponge in multiple colors or by overstamping while stain is wet. Let dry thoroughly. My husband and neighbors were blown away with the results! For the pool deck I trimmed the sponges a little and stamped a European fan design. Your color and design choices are endless. Sorry I don't have pictures but I've moved away from the area.
