Chalkboard Banner and Labels ~ Michaels Pinterest Party

I am joining my fellow bloggers at Michaels Craft Stores on February 16th for a Pinterest Party. The project I chose was the chalkboard banners and labels. I bought chalkboards, chalkboard labels, ribbon, chalk markers, and more to create a Valentine's Banner that can be erased and rewritten for the next occasion. I began by painting the frames of the chalkboards. Next I printed out the letters LOVE from my computer and transferred a light image to the chalkboards using a pencil rubbed on the back of the print out. Fill in the lettering with a chalk board marker and you're finished. Ribbons tied along the length of jute add color and interest to your banner.
