Cleaning Oven Racks in Bath With Foil: The Easy Method
Hello Heather; You can easily clean them by removing them from the oven, spraying them heavily with Easy Off, and then placing them into a heavy duty black trash bag.
Do this on a hot, sunny day and leave them in the bag outside for 8 hours, so that the sun can bake them for you.
Hose off, and they should be as good as new.
I hope that this helps you!! Take Care!
I stick them in the bathtub or out in the yard in giant trash bags - spray with oven cleaner, seal bag, let sit for a few hours, then hose off and wash as usual.
I put mine in bathtub. Water, ammonia close the bathroom door ,turn on the fan and give it 2or 3 hrs.
The simplest way I have found to do it is to put a bowl of ammonia in the cold oven overnight. In the morning wipe clean.

You are Welcome, Heather!!
For standard cleaning, use a soapy sponge and hot water to wipe the racks. For stubborn messes, soak oven racks in hot water, dish soap, and a couple scoops of baking soda. Let the racks soak in this mixture for 15 to 30 minutes before scrubbing clean with a soft sponge.
