Get some advice it needs pipeing replaced
I used Pumie heavy duty Scouring Stick and it works like magic! Costs less than $2.00 at Walmart. There is a YouTube video on this if you search for it. You will be amazed - and it's not hard to do.
If you have well water, rust might be coming from the well water. You can use salt with iron inhibitors in the salt tank to help stop the rust. Otherwise, sounds like some pipes need replaced. I have had very good luck with Zud to remove rust stains. It is a powder, but not too abrasive.
Also, when I was on city water and the city water tank got low we got rusty water. When the city tank was full the water was clean. When they changed us to county water the problem went away because our water then started coming from the reservoir.
If it is only appearing from taps that get hot water, give your water heater a look. If you have a tank-heater (as opposed to tankless), rusty hot water may mean that your tank is wearing out. Better to get it serviced/replaced before the wall corpses all the way through. No one likes to come home to a flood!
If you routinely use hot water in the kitchen too but see no rust there, it may be the pipes leading to your bathroom. Call your local plumbing school, recent graduates often work cheaper while they are building a client base.
Either way, pipes or heater, neither is a cheap fix.
When city water lines are purged for your area you will also get rust on a temporary basis. Also happens when Fire Dept opens/tests hydrants. Talk to your neighbors to see if they have problem and Call your water provider.
