Can I put food inside hand painted bowls using acrylics?

I made the bowls with air dry clay and painted inside. Would love to use them for nuts, is it safe?

acrylic paint is water soluable. I would find a food grade sealer before using.
The problem is that I can't find food grade sealer!!!
You can allways place another bowl that would fit inside yours then use them .

You can get a dishwasher safe mod podge that will also be friendly to food :)
i don't care to make them dishwasher safe as I intend to use them only for dry food, like nuts and maybe chips, so can clean myself.. my concern is the safety of those foods.. does mod podge do that You think?
