Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
I used cayenne pepper powder and shredded Irish Spring soap. When I found a chipmunk hole in my veggie garden I bated a mouse trap with peanut butter and the snap of the trap being tripped scared him right out of the garden. He hasn't been back since and it has been two months. I also have a spot under my hostas out front where I treat my chipmunk friend daily with peanuts, cookies, cereal, etc. and he hasn't damaged anything in months. If he is hungry and we are sitting out front, he comes out from under the hostas and stares at us, if we don't give him more treats, then he starts chittering at us to get our attention. He also can eat all the bird food that he want that fell out of the bird feeders.

A metal barrier is the only way to keep rodents from nibbling on anything, friend.
Use 1/4" hardware mesh to make a fence and/or cages and you'll need to bury one edge at least 2" into the ground for maximum effectiveness.

put chicken wire around your garden.
I got a product from Walmart by Bonide , it is called Go Away!. it is Rabbit, dog and cat Repellant not harmful to animals. It has also kept the squirrels away from my garden. I put it around the perimeter of the garden as it is not to be put on food plants. It has worked very well, and I have only applied once. I have also hung strips of aluminium (sp) pie or cake tins on strings so they move this also keeps the birds away. In years past I have sprinkled human hair around. An artificial owl. They don't like owls.
Thank you so much. Next year will try it because they ate this years
Wish I saw this sooner thanks. Bought a solar thing but that was a waste of 20$.
