Pantry Remodel and Organization

My Mom and Dad's pantry never really worked for them. It didn't have enough storage space, was hard to get to items and difficult to keep organized. My dad ripped out the old shelves from the righthand wall and built in new shelves on the back wall.
He also installed a new light fixture as well as LED lights to provide lighting on the shelves themselves. My mom picked a pretty blue color for the walls, and I helped them with a new organizational system.
My favorite part are the sugar and flour jars. I dug through a box of my grandma's blue willow dishes (my mom's favorite) and found to tea cups to use as the scoops. It adds a bit a pretty to the pantry, but also serves as a reminder of my sweet grandma.
Even practical areas in your home, like closets and pantries, can be beautiful as well as functional. There are no limits to personalizing you home and making it work for you!

Excellent, My husband just mention a few minutes ago that we need to reorganize our Pantry. We do a lot of home canning, so we have lots of canning jars, full and empty. Modern kitchens just don't have the storage space for all the canning equipment you need.
