Hello Kathy; There are many known benefits from drinking this tea.

Fermented foods are better for your body than non fermented.

It is an Energy Tea. Also, it is useful to aid in Detoxification, and Digestion.

It contains Antioxidants, as well as Probiotics.

This tea has many of the same benefits that Green Tea has.

I personally drink Green tea. I do this, as I have been to Japan, and got hooked on it while I was there!!!!

I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!

  • Here you go! All kinds of health claims from curing cancer to weight loss. If you are into tea and like it, go for it. I never hang my hat on every new fad that turns up, living a healthy lifestyle, getting exercise and drinking enough water can be just as beneficial in the long run. When in doubt, always check with your physician - especially if you take meds of any kind, even holistic remedies can interfere with traditional western medicine. I read an article the other day where jackfruit is the new food miracle . . . Everything in moderation! Just like Grandma and Grandpa or Mom and Dad said. 🤔

    • Yes! But sometimes not an option. I have had multiple back surgeries and that is something you can't fix with diet and exercise unfortunately. I also have arthritis in my feet - and all they want to give you is cancer causing drugs - no thank you! I will try the holistic approach until I can no longer get about on my own. I happen to love Kombucha and have been drinking it for years before it became so popular and trendy thanks to a co-worker of mine. Will it cure maladies? Doubtful, but it can't hurt to keep your system clean, and there are lots of recipes out there for that. I just find things that work for me and stick with it.

Not a surprising response from a medical doctor! I know they would rather feed us pills...

Kumbucha tea is good for digestion and liver health. It detoxifies your system naturally.

That's crazy, Kathy! I just bought one of those drinks with all the little seeds in it & I was wondering what all the hoopla is about! 😛 I've read the bottle twice😂😂 thanks for asking this question 😃

I bought a kit to make the kombucha but it has been "brewing" in the fermentation stage for six weeks already. One could die of thirst before it is ready!

You are most Welcome! BTW; There are so many fermented foods that are Asian foods. (If you are Interested, in such things)

Kim Chee is the most popular, I believe. It is good for you, it also is a natural probiotic, and it tastes good, if you enjoy salty, and spicy.

I hope that this helps you!! Take Care!
