We lived on the top floor of a 3 story apartment & we had earwigs and constantly in our windows and bathtub. We had small children so we had to go as naturally as possible. We used a spray bottle with a small amount of dishsoap and warm water. All we had to do was spray them and the soap and water would turn their disgusting little bodies inside out. It was kind of fascinating to watch and have no idea why it works the way it does..
