What products should I use? How do I prep the walls?

Ask someone in the paint department for advice. I don't see why you couldn't paint with a choice of most any paint, Which type of paint depends on whether your walls are matt or slick finish.

scrub well with tsp...use a good primer..a couple of coats...then I would use semi gloss paint....imho it is tougher than satin . But prime is important! I have done wall paper-paneling etc Clean and prime...😎

i posted a reply but don't see it,so here goes again. Scrub well with tsp or similar. Get that shiny surface clean. Then use a good primer! Zinzer..,kilz.. whatever. 2 coats...imho. Then paint, have used semi gloss..I believe it is tougher than satin! 2coats..

We purchased a repo mobile home 4 years ago as a "retreat" & it had the same type of vinyl wall covering as our rv. We just used the same type paint we'd used on our sheetrocked walls at home. Went on great & still looks fine now!
