Springtime Birdcage Anyone Can Make

I don't know about you but where I live, spring can't hurry fast enough! So I created this shabby metal turquoise birdcage with bright orange flowers to remind that it will be here soon! Armed with supplies from Michaels I added a little paint to the cage and the base, prettied up the inside with flowers and boxwood and then added some fun embellishments and ribbon to create this look! It was easy and anyone can do it. Including you! Join Michaels and The Hometalk Team for the Pinterest Party on Feb 16th at a Michaels near you! Some stores will have guest bloggers, including myself in Grand Rapids, to craft with you! I know I'm excited! Check out the post for more details on this fun event!

I love the idea. I have an old birdcage which I have been inspired to give it a coat of paint. Where I live, it is springtime .. and when I find a flowering pot plant I will put into the cage... thanks for the inspiration.
