We found this table for super cheap, but it needed some touch ups. With just a coat of paint and small changes, this table took on a great transformation!!
My friend found this end table for only five dollars. So we decided to give it a small makeover and a new life! The center of the table top was particle board. So my husband cut it out.
Then he proceeded to create a new table top center. He cut wood pieces to fit in the center.
He then checked to make sure the bottom fit in correctly. Looking good so far.
We then taped off the raw wood. We were not sure if we would stain or paint the table.
After some consideration, we decided to paint it all. The table was technically finished but it looked too plain for me,. It needed another touch so I added the flower stencil which I painted a mocha color for a softer look.
Once that was done I distressed it and added the finishing wax. And it's finished!! I love how it looks! It was pretty small change, but the table has a totally new look!
