That's all I heard "what the heck are you saving these for" ? I knew someday they would inspire me to do something. It worked, it was the most fun, not having to buy anything. I just read the message and went right to my craft room (all over my house)and started cutting and gluing. It didn't cost me a dime for this project.
I got my tub of tubes, cut the large ones length wide. I cut the small ones in half. On the long tubes I cut the one end with a point because they were the petals. The small ones was the center of the sunflower.
I started gluing and I used the staple petals in a circle. I spray painted the petals, golden yellow. Next, I moved to the center of the flower. On the small tubes, I stood them upright and again glued and stapled to form a circle. I spray painted those brown.
I also made a t-shaped support on the back, made with cardboard. I glued and stapled that too. When everything was dry. I put it together, again, using glue and staples. When everything was put together I twisted floral wire and made a hole in the back of the flower to make a loop.
The finished sunflower wreath, now to find a large space to hang it. The wreath would have been done quicker, but there is the drying time
