Window treatments on the cheap, or what I made during the last cold sn

I'm always changing something around the house so during the last cold snap I needed to change something. The living room windows were telling me they wanted new clothes lol. I don't pay the big money for custom and really don't like the off the shelf choices.
Over the holidays I found 4 panels in the exact color I wanted and they were only $3.00 each. I already had a lighter shade of gold panels from another project so my window treatments and an old well used pattern from other projects so I started from there.
Made the cornice using dark gold on the outside, light gold as the lining and I had an old gold flat sheet that I used as inner facing. The most expensive thing I bought was the beaded trim and I used my Joann Fabric 40% off coupon for that so it was only $24.00.
I wanted to have lace panels so I went to the local Veterans store and found lace panels that were perfect for $2.99 a panel, and they were 1/2 off the day I was there!
These aren't the greatest pictures because of the glare but you Hometalkers get the idea :)
For under $50 I have custom window treatments using low cost and recycled fabrics.
Not a good picture of the lace panels

Laura I do have crown molding in my living room and I did it myself! I attached a picture the pattern I used. I've had this pattern for about 15 years so I don't know if they still make this exact same one. You may be able to find something similar.
