They sell countertop kits at places like Home Depot and Lowes from brands like Giani and Rustoleum Restoration. They are pretty affordable, come in different styles and have everything you need plus instructions.

Hello Queenbet! Here ya go! I love this idea and am going to be doing this myself ;)

I wanted to do this but not sure if I can get my nephew to cut the wood for me (I don't have my own saw):

and then again, i'm thinking THIS would be wonderful (it would look great at first and then maybeeventually get that beatup type of popular look LOL)

Good Luck Queenbet! Thanks for using Hometalk :)

Rustoleum Counter-top Renewal! Used it three years ago and is still in great shape. Inexpensive, easy to apply, and looks great.

Hello Queenbet; If I were redoing my Countertops, I would go to Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Etc.

They have everything that you will need to redo your Countertops, and it will not cost you an arm and a leg to do such!!!

I personally redid Countertops for a Friend, and they turned out so well, that people think that they have been professionally done!!!

I hope that this helps you!!! Have fun with your Countertops!! Take Care!
