Mixed Media Burlap Canvas
A plain burlap canvas can become a work of art with a little paint and some accessories. As part of the Michaels and Hometalk Pinterest Party happening nationwide at Michaels stores on Feb. 16, 1pm... I decided to create a mixed media wall art project. Here's my take on a burlap canvas. Mixed media burlap canvas
After the paint dried, I used a decoupage technique to build layers with different scrapbook papers
More paint and a few glued on accessories were added for the finishing touches
The second canvas was just paint and embellishments
I used pretty stamps to add a phrase and more decoration to the finished piece.
