Any ideas for soundproofing a bedroom that is now a music room?

Styrofoam sheets painted and adhered to the walls should do the trick.

If the bedroom is on the second floor you might want a thick carpet pad and carpet to buffer sound.

If there is a room above the music room, add styro to the ceiling.

    Hope that helps

Hello Kevnmel, I would put carpet squares on the walls. That should really reduce the noise level in the rest of the house. In order to keep your walls from being damaged, I recommend using Command hooks or two-sided tape to hang the carpet squares.

You could mount squares or rectangles of dense foam on boards and then to the walls.

Also, line the walls with furniture to absorb the sounds. Good luck :) And add a carpet or rug to help with sound absorption as well :)
