Burlap Valentine's Day Banner

What’s there not to love about Valentine’s Day? Hearts, chocolate, flowers, love, lot’s of pink, and bling!I’ve had this really cute paper from “My Mind’s Eye” called Lucky in Love, for a while now. Since I’m in love with all things burlap, I thought the pink/blue/red combo, would look great with burlap. Good thing I had some left over pieces of burlap from another project.Since the pendant is a fairly simple shape, I took plain red 12×12 cardstock and cut the pendant shape down until I got it to a size that felt right. I could have done this on my beloved Silhouette Cameo, but it was faster (in this case) to just cut it by hand, with a ruler of course. Each pendant turned out to be approximately 4×5. I then glittered the edges…you can’t have enough sparkle on Valentine’s Day, right?I then cut the burlap pendant down so it was slightly smaller than the red pendant. No sense in covering up all the lovely glitter.I made the rosettes with my scoring board, and then embellished with supplies I had on hand. There is a reason why us crafters are hoarders, right! :)This was a super fun project to make, and surprisingly didn’t take much time at all! You still have a few days left…go create!Happy Hearts Day!
