Would a poured stamped concrete patio be better around a pool or pavers?

The pool can always be overlaid with pavers. Stamped concrete is a great solution when it is not an overlay. Color can be mixed into the concrete and the stamping is part of the entire slab, not an overlay. A sealer must be kept on it to keep moistue from damaging it. An overcoat of sealer is recommended every 2-3 years based on your specific needs.

thin-stamped overlays have proven themselves to be a great solution even when repairing original stamped conc,,, as the o'lay only adds approx 5/15" to the finished elevation, its often a very desireable solution to a 'fix-up-my-patio' concrete,,, good luck !
