Paint the bottom and hang it on a wall. Drill a hole in the center and make a clock.

Cast-iron skillets are recyclable. They can also be sold on websites such as "Letgo." If you don't want to part with it, and if you live in the country, you can convert it into a "call-to-supper" device. Just hang it by the handle on the porch. Also hang a ladle or large serving spoon with it so you can hit the pan with it when it's time to call folks to supper! Or simply place a bow on the handle and hang it in the kitchen for a country look.

I'd hang it on a kitchen wall, with some good anchorage. Try Molly bolts, or if you can hang it on stud, that is the board between the walls. From one stud to the next, the space is 16 inch apart. The middle of stud to the middle of the next stud. Hang the pan, bottom facing out. You can glue two pot holders, a plastic ladle, dish towel draped over the pan just about midway down, or hang a sign Terri's Kitchen. You can find something like this @ a Dollar Store, craft store or some specialty store. Hang this in a space that looks bare. Good Luck!
