Pledge Floor care is one I use. They do says not to use a steam mop or get the floors wet. It can make them swell.

I have laminated floors in my family room. What I do is warm water & a little bit of Dawn dish detergent. Most import is to ring the mop well. Don't use alot of water on it.

I only use water with white vinegar.

I put half water and half white vinegar in a spray bottle. I spray a four foot section and then wipe it with a terrycloth covered swifter, dampened....wrung out really well. When the floor is finished, then I take a dry terry cloth and go over the floor again so there is not any dampness, wetness on the floors.

This is how we do it. My floor is about I6 years old and beautiful! Only I can no longer do it (MS) my husband does with small areas at a time and dries it with a microfiber cloth.

Do not use any oily product on Laminate flooring. The Laminate floor care system from Bona is by far the best yet,no streaks or residue

I totally agree with Janet Pizaro - Bona is the best for laminate and hardwood!
