Make A Bathroom Look Totally Different Without Spending A Ton Of Money

You don't have to spend a ton of money to makeover your bathroom. We just completed our first flip house and the bathroom was the last makeover and the biggest transformation.
We started off with a lot of yellow! The flooring was bad, the vanity was HUGE and the surround was falling apart.
We removed all the old "stuff" and started the budget makeover. We painted the yellow bathtub white which cost pennies compared to replacing it. Then, we only needed two boxes of new flooring because the bathroom is small. We found the new vanity, sink, mirror and light fixture at Restore!!! That alone saved us a ton of money.
The toilet was fine so we just bought a "rebuild" kit to have everything new inside of the tank. The wainscoting on the walls made the bathroom so cute! We didn't need that much because we weren't covering that much space. The trim on top and bottom of the wainscoting was wood we had in our garage.
We bought new faucets for the sink and the tub and the sink. We did add a new tub surround as well. The color on the walls is a mixture of some left over paint colors we had.
We had the hook from a previous project and the shower curtain was one I had in my linen closet. It is amazing how much money you can save by shopping at Restore, using what you have and DIYing as much of the project as you can. This bathroom sold the flip house. The transformation is unbelievable. Find out more details about this makeover on my blog: http://mycreativedays.porch.com/budget-bathroom-makeover/
