Not sure what you are asking. Although I'd say I wouldn't use grey with all the brown. I'd check out a color wheel and probably use a contrasting color for the wall.

I’m guessing that you’re stuck with the grey walls and brown furniture and you’re asking how you can help them work together.

Grey can be either warm or cool - in other words it can have either greenish/bluish undertones or yellowish/reddish undertones. Brown is, essentially, a dark orange/red/yellow. If your grey is warm accent with more reds, yellows, or oranges. If it’s cool try blues and greens.

How do you tell what your undertones are? Grab a handful of grey, blue, and yellow paint chips. Put them next to the wall one at a time, step back, take a look. Keep notes on the back. Trust your instincts.

Maybe you can find some fabric lengths (thrift store?) or blankets in various colors and hold them next to the walls or throw them over the couch.

    Play around and have fun!

Lime Green - Burnt Orange -Turquoise - Cerise Pink any of these would look stunning, whether it is Paint for walls or Accent Colours

So True! Creative Minds think alike! I just bought a new home and had the floors thru-out replaced with dark chocolate wood, had the walls painted light grey, the ceiling a medium grey, the doors a dark grey, and my accent wall is the perfect orange. When I finish decorating, I will have lime and teal accents thru-out.

You need something to tie your grey and browns together. Look for a piece of art, a fabric, an area rug, etc. then move forward with accent colors found in that pieve.

i have tan walls and a gray sofa. I used navy blue and real blue as accent colors. The pillows have a little gray and a little tan in them to pull everything together. I also used a rug that is gray and tan.
