I picked up this piece of wood and the way it looked inspired this project! You get a piece of nature staring back at you....you can't just leave it be. These "eyes" in this piece of wood were just to real looking. I knew I had to use this piece for something special!
Look at these notches in this wood. Unbelievable that such realistic looking eyes could be formed on here.
Closer view...better to see you with my pretties!!
Wrinkle lines and all. Can't just paint over this beauty, time to get creative. How about some Halloween decor?
So I drew an outline with pencil, then took acrylic paint and started my creation. It will be an original beauty with a little spooky mixed in. Looking good!
I added a couple side signs to go with my spooky creation. Which I got for $1.00 on an after season sale, sanded old image off and repainted using a stencil. A little imagination can really make a creative cool and original project. Take YOUR EYES and look around at things. What can your mind create today?

You can't just paint such deep spooky eyes. I love your sign. If you have at least these two Halloween signs, I bet you have other seasonal signs, too. Do you have a way of organizing and storing your creations?

That is so cute! I instantly saw "deer" eyes. Wouldn't that be something to try? 😘
