Best way to paint

What is the he best way to paint (just add details with a stencil) on the kind of furniture that is on the picture?

    Because there are so many ways to do this, depending on the look you want (are you doing the inside back wall of the bookcase or the sides for example), I included a link to Pinterest with lots of ideas:

    Pinterest has it, and then some! I was going to suggest chalk paint, but any kind of paint has its drawbacks and advantages....

    If your goal is to add color and interest I would

    suggest using Washi tape and or removable contact paper. Washi tape is great for shelf fronts and sides because it comes in so many different widths and designs. And contact paper is SO much easier to use now and the choices of colors and designs are endless!

    i just painted something very similar for my daughters playroom. I lightl sanded and then painted with Glidden all in one paint. Turned out great!

    Use chalk paint. Just follow the directions on the can.
