What type of hinges are used on the top of this folding table?

Repurposing a door can make a beautiful headboard, and it's a good size for the project. King headboards are typically 6'7" to 7' wide, and a standard door is 6'8", so it requires minimal modification. Hello Lori, You could go with oak, maple, or pine if you are going to make your headboard with just wood. If you are going to make a headboard using fabric on the front, plywood would work. Good luck.
i used old palettes, covered it up with material looks okay. Many posts on here about head boards

I used a sheet of plywood..covered with foam and then used ultrasuede and a staple gun! Excuse the lousy pic..was trying to sell it at our yard sale..now Im going to use it again
