Has anyone had cupboards replaced and reused their granite countertops

we want to replace the cupboards but keep our granite? Is this possible?

Why not? As long as you are very, very careful taking the granite out so it doesn't crack. If you keep the same layout/measurements it should be feasible.
Almost anything is possible. Contact a good carpenter (Get references!) If your new cabinets follow the same foot print as the old ones, this should not be a problem. Workers - you'll need several w/ muscle. Granite is heavy!
