If it is creeping Charlie, unless you get it all, it will continue to spread again. It spreads by its roots. If it is in your garden, start furthest away from the edge of your garden and work to the edges, You need to get the roots and the roots between the roots. I clean them to six inches or more outside the garden, that way I can catch them before or as they start into the garden and are easier to reach. I can't tell you about how to rid the lawn, as my super shady yard does not grow a whole lot of green, so any green helps it look more normal from the street. If I did want to get rid of it, I would use weed and feed fertilizer starting in early spring, and use a grass safe weed killer on what crops up.

Get a weed puller and pull them out by the roots then spray that hole with blue dawn mixed with white vinegar to kill remaining roots. If root is stubborn I use equal amount of salt and water to spray the hole. I spot treat my weeds. My neighbors watch in disbelief that I used to sit in my lawn "hand pulling weeds, individually!)

've had great luck with "Speedzone"...(PBI Gordon product) knocks em' down quick, and covers some weeds that "Momentum FX2" doesn't such as Wild Violet
