    First you need to remove the old stain. Strip it, repair or patch any dings, dents or unwanted holes, sand it and then you can restain it. Don't forget to seal it. It's not a quick project but it can be rewarding. Or if you want something faster-paint.

    Hi Arlene! WOW! I can't believe how hard it was to find this weblink! I am definitely bookmarking it for future reference.
