    What is happening to them?

We have one of these old girls that was on it's last leg a few weeks ago. Instead of feeding it to the monster trash can outside, we trimmed down the nasty spots, cleared off dead branches and leaves, and gave her a good drink of water with Miracle Grow. Three weeks later, she's got loads of new leaves and beautiful red blooms coming out everywhere! Mind you she looked like a bunch of dead twigs with maybe a dozen very small leaves left when we fed her. We didn't amend the soil, just cleaned her up and gave her a good feeding. Good luck!

When my geraniums struggle in August, it is usually the heat. Be sure to keep them watered at least every other day. The bigger the plant the more water they need. Mine sit in the sun all morning, but have shade in the afternoons. I don't know if that will help, but they seem to like it best that way. Hope this helps

Hello Msstampa; It is the Sun and heat.

I give mine a small drink of water daily.

I also lightly fertilize and trim off any pieces that do not look good.

I also have mine in filtered sun.

I have mine in pots, and I move them into shade, if it is too hot out.

I hope that this helps you!!!!!! Take Care!
