Kitchen Cabinets

1983 flat front cabinets with router groove in them. Made frames of chair rail to add definition to doors. Painted top cabinets with Sherwin Williams Devine White and used a wiping gel glaze (Master's from Benjamin Moore) for the bottom cabinets. The color contrast made my little kitchen feel SO much larger.
BEFORE....moved cabinets on left to frig area. Recessed new frig into wall w/pantry which was originally a hall closet.New appliances, ceramic floor, granite counter/sink , painted cabinets. Painted ceiling fan blades to match wall.
AFTER.....still need to put up backsplash. But it may be a while before energy returns. :)

Your kitchen looks amazing now. I have the same cabinets and was wondering what size of chair rail molding you used?

@Yvonne Jensen Thank you! We used 3-1/2" chair rail. I have been so pleased with my cabinets. Have had friends come in and ask who did my custom cabinets. Both of my bathroom vanities were the same cabinet doors and hubby did those, too. I did NOT sand my cabinets. Sherwin Williams makes a product that you paint on and it allows paint to adhere. Reminds me of Kilz as you paint it on. So much easier to paint than sand. Good luck and hope yours turn out exactly the way you want them.

I think your kitchen looks great nice and clean adding color will make it dark. It is hard to believe the change moving frig makes. Love it.
