check to see if you have a trap in the drain pipe under the sink it`s a kind of a u shape.
baking soda......
Thanks for your help. Will try the vinegar and baking soda
Go to the hardware store and buy a bottle of Robiotics Drain Cleaner. Its natural, no chemicals, its basically microbes activated in warm water, you pour it down the drain or garbage disposal before you go to bed, and it eats the gunk in your pipes. Run hot water in morning and it should clear it. I also buy these little citrus bubbles called Plink and that works too.
I would suggest baking powder it helps keep my fridye odor free, Bonnie Bee
Did you check under the sink and see if the cabinet is wet, cause if its molding under there it will stink too.
I use baking soda and vinegar; it will foam up while hopefully cleaning the pipes. Allow this to sit for 20 minutes, and then flush with boiling water. If you have a double sink, treat each drain.
