A fresh coat of paint can get rid of the dingy feeling that comes with time. As far as dusting, there are static dusters on Extension rods that do a great job.

    Hope that helps

if you mean 'popcorn' ceilings -- I VERY gently use the upholstery brush on my vacuum cleaner; there are links on how to remove - but way too dirty and time consuming for me!

Get a long rob with a sponge and soak it in vinegar and dawn soap. If finances is available try a nice painting on the ceiling.

Get one of the duster, that is adjustable, and this can help you many ways. J.

I'm short, old, and I'm not supposed to climb ladders. I look up at the ceiling fans and see dust on the the blades. If I can not get someone else to dust the fan, I climb a short ladder (but not the top step). I use the highest blasting blow dryer we have, connected to my heavy duty extension cord. That blow dryer gets all the loose dust off the blades on top, bottom, and edges. As far as those corners at 14' and 16' go, I just don't look up there. One a year, everything gets cleaned and dusted by professionals with tall ladders. This is just how I manage. Best wishes 😇
