Make sure the blades on your lawn mower are sharp. Dull blades will hurt your grass and turn it yellow.
I wondered if epsom salts sprinkled would help. It recovers citrus tree leaves.
Do you have animals relieving themselves on your lawn causing the yellowing? If not have you fertilized the lawn? Under or over fertilization along with insufficient watering could be killing the grass.
