Hang a rod close to the ceiling. The ends should extend past the width of the window(s) on both ends...so the have sufficient room to gather when opened. This give the room and windows larger look. You can also add sheers behind the drapes from top to bottom...or just half way down the window to the floor. Please post whatever you do!

The trick is to follow the worker ants back to their colony. Then apply some ant bait to kill out the queen and get rid of your ant problem.

Borax and sugar- works great. I have used it recently VERY successfully. I have used equal parts but perhaps there's a recipe.

use ant baits. Terros ? {home depot}

Mix equal parts of borax and sugar and sprinkle on their hills and in their paths.

packaged cornbread mix that says it is sweetened and put it where they are coming in if you can find it, or even on your counter in a small lid. They will take it to the mound, everyone will eat it and die, they can't digest the cornmeal, but will take it because it is sweetened. Little goes a long way.
