Debby to get rid of ants mix together 2 parts table sugar with one part boric acid (or 20 Mule Team Borax). KEEP IT AWAY FROM PETS AND KIDS . Put the mixture in caps/on lids along the path you've seen them, and if it is inside put a thin line alone the back of the counter next to the sam of the wall. The first day you won't see muc hactivity but by the 2nd and 3rd days you will be swarmed. The 4th and 5th day their numbers will drop off and by the end of the week you won't see any more activity (or perhaps just a few strays here and there). That's because in collecting the sugar they have also taken back to the colony the boric acid which has wiped out the colony, including the queen. :) If you put this mixture outside by/near the ant hills you see it will have to be reapplied every day after the dew dries up or after a rain. Now on to the mosquitoes:

I like the mosquito fan trap. After watching a lot of them on YouTube, this guy seems to be the best. He did one thing in one of his videos I liked, he put an open bottle of seltzer water in front of the fan to attract the mosquitos to the released CO2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU2kbghz85I

I use a fan to keep the mosquitoes away. It's magical how well it works!

For ants use a thin line of dishwashing liquid to surround the area where they are entering the house or kitchen. Ants will not cross that line.

Corn meal gets rid of ants and is pet safe. Sprinkle on ant hills or around perimeter of patio etc.

baby powder (or other) thrown around ant trails stops them walking. I put into pantry and up the walls, by shaking it on windowsills etc. It's harmless for humans and pets and I believe made of chalk.

mosquitos. put bleach into water puddles that collect around the yard where they are breeding. Ensure the animals have their own water buckets.
