painted glass bottle.
For this project I needed:
- One colored glass bottle
- stencil
- black acrylic pain
It was pretty easy to do. The stencil that I got at Michael’s stuck right to the bottle. I simply used a foam brush to dab on some black paint. Let it dry. Peeled off the stencil and voila!
painted stretched burlap canvas.
For this project I used:
- one small stretched burlap canvas
- stencil
- yellow and green acrylic paint.
This project was also pretty easy. I simply taped the stencil in place over the canvas and again, using a foam brush, dabbed the paint on over the stencil. Let it dry and peeled the stencil off.
painted and distressed pot.
For this project I purchased:
- 1 terracota pot
- stencil
- dark blue and white acrylic paint.
This project was easy as well, but required a few more steps. I painted a coat of white paint on with a foam brush and allowed it to dry. I continued with subsequent layers of white paint (letting it dry in between each coat) until I achieved my desired coverage. I did the same to the rim of the pot using a dark blue paint. Once it was all dry, I used a fine grit sandpaper to further distress the look. I finished up by sticking a simple stencil to the pot and painting over it. Let it dry and then removed the stencil.
