Typically clover grows in nitrogen poor soil, grass will not. Fertilize the area and the clover will die off and grass will once again take over.

I love clover in the lawn. It attracts rabbit who eat it. Of course I have no veggie garden, so if you have don't invite the rabbits.

Clover does help the lawn with nutrients as it breaks down. Use a Preemergent fertilizer in the spring before everything starts growing. You can spot treat with a weed killer that is of the type that kills the weeds but not the grass.

Clover is just blown in, and naturally seeds itself. To get rid of it, go to a hardware store, and look at the diff lawn seeds. This will help you, get rid of them. Best wishes, J.

PS. . clover is NOT a weed, for so many birds do use this only, for their diet, so just get the seed, that will grow and take over this area. You may likely have to wet this area first, before you plant the seed, then mist it. Just stay off this area, for several days, or if you have a dog, place some fencing over it, or around it, so the dog, or animal will not

walk over it, and dig. Best wishes, J.
