Does anyone know how to make home made viewing glasses for the Eclipse

Contact the Smithsonian Museum. They have fee glasses and also have instructions. Be really careful.

Janna, It's not worth your eyesight, don't even try. Homemade eclipse glases are not always reliable and I wouldn't want you to burn out your retinas.

Don't risk your eyesight just to see an eclipse. Use ones that are certified safe. Hopefully you will be able to see it! I know they are forecasting clouds for my location. I am not worried about it as I have seen them before.

Personally I would not chance my vision to anything homemade...just sayin'

You can go to a library and get free glasses

We got ours at the hardware store for less than 2$. Just be sure the have ISO on them and the right numerical code. I understand there are lots of fake glasses out there.

We got ours from Walmart for $1 each. They are ISO certified too.
