I have the same issue. I found an old pie safe that I use. But if you are limited on space I have seen ideas for hanging wine racks that you roll the towels up and put them in the wine slots. Or even a smaller cube, if you rol the towels you can stack and put a bunch on there

You can put a basket on the floor and roll the towels and place them there. If you have counter space you can roll them and place them in a wine rack. How about a narrow standing metal rack where you can stack them?

I bought an "over the toilet" shelf unit and fold and put my towels there. Another place is below the sink. Or you can put up some wall shelves. Also, if you have room, you can install another towel holder.

i put the towels under the sink, or on the above commode free standing wire shelf system.

If you have wall space attach baskets to the wall.

If you have a space in your bathroom you could build one, or get a nice looking wire shelving unit you put together. Our house must not have had one when the house was built, as someone made one out of plywood in the bathroom. It is almost floor to ceiling and about two and a half feet wide with plenty of room for a nice sized vanity.

  • Under the sink and on shelf in my bedroom closet. The people who design and build houses do not run a proper household, in my opinion. Even the smallest home or apartment needs linen storage for extra sheets, towels, blankets, pillows, beach towels, extra kitchen towels, cloth napkins, etc. As you can see a touchy subject for me! Ha! ☺

I had the exact same problem and a very small bathroom, too. Luckily, there was a corner just outside the bathroom that I could fit a pre-made cabinet with shelves in. I stained the cabinet, added handles and had the perfect solution for storing towels, toilet paper, etc.

My bathroom at my previous home had no space at all, just a small shower sink and toilet. I put a glass shelf over my door and put all my towels on that. It worked out great!
