Fairy lights

Does anyone know where I can get fairy lights that don't flash, twinkle or fade? I just want some that are burn steady- (warm white) - so far, all that I've bought or seen, don't remain steady and it drives me nuts.
Thanks for any help!

A few places to check...Lowe's, Home Depot, Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Each of them carry a good selection of lights, and will probably have some that do not blink or twinkle.

Thanks Michele! I'll try those places. So far, have only tried online. Maybe I'll have better luck at one of those stores.

  • I Googled and found these. There are more out there but you may have to sift through lots of sites.

I know there are others as I have come across them. May be tedious, but check every store you shop. Places like Hobby Lobby, Michael's etc. will have them, you just may need to dig.

    • Oh dear! Hobby Lobby is a crafters dream land . . . Make it an outing and stick to your budget. Or you will buy everything in the store! Once you visit you will want to get on their email list - or social media for their awesome coupon buys . . . 😆

    Target has them:

    • Lighting Effects: constant light (no effect)

    Wire Color: Gold

Check online, they are everywhere. Most have the option of twinkle or steady.

Most of them have a setting that includes non-twinkle ("steady") - read the specifications on the package.

    • Superbee Superbee on Aug 18, 2017

Hi Fiddledd224. Thank you for your reply. I have some now that have the option of non twinkle, but I have to click that button six or seven times to get steady burn (or what appears to be so) and then they'll start to fade, or twinkle, etc, and I have to start all over, clicking away. It's really hard a hassle to "find" the steady burning option. At my age, I don't have the patience ....

I found some on ebay with free shipping from China and they were only $5.99 US for 50 feet. They are a steady burn light and I was thrilled with them. They arrived within a month and look so pretty along the back fence at night. As they are not edible or wearable I did not care that they were made in China as it kept the costs down!!

I hope this is helpful. Oh, almost forgot, there are a variety of shapes and sizes available too..........................

    Blessings,

    Michelle

You probably found them by now as all the stores seem to have had them for Xmas. I sewed two sets to the lapels of my tuxedo jacket just last night for a NYE party!
