Window ideas

I have four rectangular windows that would be perfect for making trays or signs. My problem is if I were to make a try out of two of them is I don't know if I should leave the glass in or not. Any suggestions? I'd like to show you a,picture of them but can't get it to download. Thanks!

The glass may not be tempered so it could break into large pieces and seriously injure someone if there is too much weight on the tray. You could either replace the glass with something more durable or laminate the glass on the underside with some impact resistant glass protection. Also keep in mind that the paint in the wood may contain lead so you need to take care as not to expose your self or anyone else to it.

@SawHorse this was my concern so do you think I should replace it with wood? If so what kind od wood?

I like to have mirror glass cut to fit. Then I can paint on the frame & the mirror too.
