Hello Gray; This is the method that I Personally use:

It is Exceedingly Important that you do Not use petals that have been sprayed with anything toxic!!!!

Remove Rose petals from the stems.

I dip the Rose petals under warm water.

Add your Rose petals to a large pot.

Top with distilled water to barely cover.

On medium low heat, simmer and cover.

I simmer my water for at least thirty-forty minutes.

Strain and Enjoy!!!
