How do I reduce the frequency of HomeTalk emails?

I enjoy seeing the home improvement ideas, but getting the messages everyday is a becoming very annoying. I don't want to unsubscribe completely (unless I have to), but can't find a way to get a weekly digest of other people's good ideas. Can it be done?

There is a weekly option that comes on the weekend. Go to your profile picture by clicking on it (even if you don't have a pic). On the left there is an email settings option. Click on that and then click on the newsletter you want to receive. This is the link to mine, but I'm guessing that it will work for you.

Agree. Many of these ideas require buying 'Made in China' plastic supplies from discount stores. Reuse what supplies at home instead.

  • Just update your preferences, yes, you can just receive once a week. At the botom of the email there should be a link.

Go to your account setting by clicking the down arrow on the upper right status bar, then select Email Settings on the left, and unclick any checked box you don't want to receive.

If that doesn't do it, go to the bottom of the email to find Unsubscribe, and click it and remove yourself.
