This article says the best method is a combination of baking soda and dish soap: http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/home/cleaning/tips/a32751/best-way-to-clean-pyrex-dish/

    Magic Eraser came in second.

I usually clean mine with hot soapy water. If food has gotten stuck on the finish, I usually soak it and then scrub it baking soda and a dish brush or a scrubbie. If all else fails, I get out my Bar Keepers Friend.

    Hope that helps.

do not use bar keepers friend, bin ami or any cleansers. It can make minute scratches unseen by the eye. Voiding the warranty ( yes Pyrex used to come with a warranty butim not sure if it still does). And when taking the purex from a hot oven into coolair or putting ona cool surface this minute scratches can be the cause of Pyrex exploding.

One thing to nothe pyrex and other oven glassware use to be made of a boron silicate... making it less likely to explode. But the newer and cheaper glass oven wear is made of a cheaper substance. Making it weaker or more likely to explode, always put on a cloth or silicone trivet instead of directly on the countertop or table. This eliminates some of the temperature change.

You may may have been able to use cleansers etc and never had it explode. But it only takes once. pyrex exploded my mom once and I was severely injured when I jumped in fright Landing directly on a huge piece. It went to the bone. The only saving grace was we were entertaining a firefighter friend and the pyrex was so hot itseared my nerve endings, cauterizing much of the wound. please learn from my mistake.

Hot water , Dawn and a dryer sheet . Let it soak submerged in your kitchen sink overnight. It should be easy to clean in the morning . I have used this on glass, pots, cookie sheets. It sounds odd but has worked for me .
