Thin gaps between granite counter and stove..
Hi everyone, my daughter and her hubby had their kitchen redone after they got married. However, they have been annoyed with crumbs, etc. falling between the crack... See more
They sell "gap strips" - attaching an example - sold at lots of stores, like Bed Bath and Beyond, hardware stores.

they make and sell a plastic insert just for this, i'm not sure where anymore as i've had mine for some time. should be able to google it...
What first comes to mind is... Is your stove level with your counter. This helps a lot. Most stoves have leveling feet on them which also adjusts the height.
Try an old toothbrush or a nail scrubbing brush. If the crumbs are dry, this should get a good 97-99 percent of the crumbs.
Otherwise, I would try a dish cloth and a butter knife. If you lay the cloth flat across the gap, use the dull side of the knife to push the cloth into the crack a bit and drag it all to the front of the stove. Wet cloth will clean the dribbles while a dry should move the crumbs.
Hope this helps.
Look in the various small catalogs: Walter Drake, Carol Wright, Lillian Vernon, or on line. There is a metal strip that comes in chrome or copper color and drops right down into this space. I have the same problem and the metal insert works wonders to keep junk from collecting or falling to the floor.
ij its real narrow, I have caulked it with bathroom silicon caulk, use clear or white. If its wide, I would buy one of the aluminum filler strips, I have this, they are only a few dollar. http://www.drleonards.com/no-spill-strip/75804.cfm?clicksource=fi_0600__view_all
I agree with Naomie, DW and GVargo1959. The item they are talking about is not very expensive in is nice and neat looking. I'd get one myself if I didn't have a drop in range that has walls on 2 sides and open areas on the other 2 sides.
Good luck!
My brilliant daughter told me to cover ours with packing tape. It is wide, easy to use and invisible in place. Works great!
